![]() The Senior Project Manager has the authority to assign, as per the Project Plan, work packages to Team Managers and approve deliverables produced by them. ![]() He/she is expected to meet the organization’s performance and delivery goals. The main responsibility of a Project Manager is to ensure that the project outputs are delivered within the specified project tolerances of time, cost, quality, scope, risk and benefits. Project Manager acts on behalf of the Project Board to manage the project on an ongoing basis during the Implementation Stage. Under the direct supervision of the Head of Programme, the Senior Project Manager is responsible to provide oversight to the day-to-day operations of the project(s) and provides services to the different donors, partners and beneficiaries. This project will be implemented in Addis Ababa and UNOPS is selected as an implementer. This unit will be formed by a group of experts and specialists in the relevant matters that will be in charge of delivering the outputs. UNOPS is selected to manage the project by creating a project management unit (PMU). This project will be implemented in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia and the overall objective/purpose is to contribute towards the realization of selected strategic priorities of the Health Sector Transformation Plan (HSTP-II) which is more on project management focusing on institutional capacity building, technical assistance etc. UNOPS has signed a project agreement with (Strengthening the Capacity of the Ministry of Health for the Realization of Health Sector Transformation Plan (HSTP-II) selected priorities.
